Megan A. Demos

MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Megan’s philosophy is to treat others as she would want to be treated.

“It is my moral obligation to provide nonjudgemental care and support as I work in collaboration with my clients.”

Her treatment of psychiatric disorders is holistic in nature. While it may include utilizing prescription medications, Megan also focuses on psychotherapy, vitamins and other supplements. This whole-body approach also incorporates lifestyle habits and wellness principles, such a dietary changes, exercise, sleep hygiene, mindfulness, and social connection. Megan believes that patient education and engagement is key in the healing process.

She has a varied background in the medical profession that began in the U.S. Air Force in 2005 as a Public Health Technician and began practicing psychiatry as a board-certified nurse practitioner in 2019. Megan proudly served until 2021, when she was honorably discharged.

Believing in the power of education, Megan also serves young nurses as an adjunct professor at Malone University in Northeast Ohio.

“As a healthcare professional, I strongly believe that I have the ability to change the way those with mental illnesses view themselves and how they are viewed and treated by others. I am here to work alongside you, to give you hope for improved mental health and overall wellness.”

In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two teenagers. Together, they enjoy kayaking, biking, camping and traveling around the country. She is passionate about helping others, sharing knowledge and resources, and she strives to be a positive light to others around her.
