Grace Deegan

LPC

“It is astonishing how elements that seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens.” – Carl Rogers

Grace hopes to create a supportive environment for you to bounce ideas off of, to speak about your experiences and to find meaning in both the exciting and the difficult moments of life. “My approach begins with being a listening ear for my clients and allowing them to tell their stories.”

She seeks to develop a genuine alliance with her clients and to collaborate in a way that allows you to explore and address your goals along a journey of self-growth.

Grace works with adolescents and adults and has found success in employing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) for trauma, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), Anger Management, Stress Management, Relational issues, Adolescent’s issues and Women’s issues.

In her spare time, Grace enjoys staying active, playing card games with friends and family, drinking tea, and convincing her dog that she’s “the favorite” in the family.
